It's hard to say when Pueo Projects was founded, I’ve been at it for a few years. More than anything this is simply the latest embodiment of a lifetime, and the distillation of generations of problem solving. That's who I am and most of my adult life has been spent trying to be part of the solution to big problems: war, humanitarian disasters, healthcare access for vulnerable populations, and natural resource crime. Working with others and leading teams of dedicated people has given me a lot of insight into how to help people connect their purpose or mission to the space and stuff available. My design philosophy is deeply grounded in where I came from: ruthless pragmatism, demanding that function be embedded in the aesthetic. I enjoy technology and fully embrace the digital workspace, but I find my personal choices tend toward wood, leather, wool, linen, iron, cork, and canvas.
